Transit Guarantee (CTC)

Every transit declaration must be backed by a guarantee — a financial security covering the duty and VAT that would be due if the goods escape the transit procedure. We help businesses choose between an individual guarantee (one-off, by cash or voucher) and a comprehensive guarantee (revolving facility for regular movers).

We work with major guarantors to set up comprehensive guarantees and reduce reference amounts where compliance allows. For ad-hoc movements, we arrange CGU vouchers (TC32) on your behalf and reserve the guarantee inside the declaration at the moment of submission.
