T1 / T2 Transit Declarations
External (T1) and internal (T2) transit declarations filed via NCTS
T1 and T2 are the two main transit procedures under the Common Transit Convention. T1 covers non-Union goods (typically third-country imports moving under suspension of duty), while T2 covers Union goods moving between two parts of the customs territory through a third country.
We prepare and submit both T1 and T2 declarations through NCTS Phase 5. We register your principal, lodge the declaration at the office of departure, secure the guarantee reservation, and ensure your MRN, TAD and LRN are issued in time for the haulier to present at the frontier.
We specialise in UK ↔ EU corridors via Dover, Eurotunnel, Holyhead and the short-strait ferries, as well as TIR transits through the Balkans and Türkiye.
